Creating a Dynamic NextJS Contentful Website for a local pancake house

Koek & Bak was a cozy pancake house located in the heart of As, Belgium. The restaurant was owned and operated by a Jessica, a passionate mom who wanted to create a place where she could work together with her daughter, Emily. Koek & Bak's menu features delicious, homemade pancakes and other baked goods, made with high-quality ingredients and served in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a rich history and loyal customer base, Koek & Bak is a beloved institution that embodies the best of local business and community spirit.

The project

In my free time, I decided to create a new website for my mom's pancake house, Koek & Bak, using NextJS and Contentful CMS. Since I wanted to gain more experience with other modern technologies, I intentionally chose Tailwind CSS and NextJS to challenge myself and learn something new. Through this project, I was able to help promote my mom's business while also expanding my portfolio and honing my skills. The end result was a beautiful and responsive website that reflects the warm and inviting atmosphere of Koek & Bak and showcases its delicious menu.
