Recreating a leading e-commerce website

With a strong presence in Belgium and Luxembourg, Krëfel has been serving customers for over 60 years. Renowned for their extensive product selection, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service, Krëfel has become a go-to destination for individuals and families seeking high-quality electronics and home essentials.

The project

I had the privilege of playing a vital role in helping Krëfel recreate their e-commerce website. I spearheaded the project by leveraging my expertise in NextJS and Styled Components. I took charge of integrating Contentful, a powerful content management system, to streamline the website's content creation and management process.

Additionally, I introduced new features that enhanced the overall user experience, such as a personalized wish list, responsive and scalable footer and navigation, and a seamless product filtering process.

By combining NextJS's performance benefits, Styled Components' flexible styling, and Contentful's content management capabilities, I successfully delivered a modern and dynamic e-commerce website for Krëfel. The project showcased my ability to navigate complex development challenges and create innovative solutions that contributed to Krëfel's online success.
